4-4-4-4 BREATHING

The 4-4-4-4 breathing technique, also known as box breathing, is a simple yet effective method for calming the mind and reducing stress. This practice helps to regulate the breath and bring a sense of balance. Sit comfortably with your back straight and shoulders relaxed. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths to settle in. Visualize a square in your mind's eye as you breathe. Inhale slowly through your nose for a count of four, filling your lungs completely. Hold your breath for a count of four, feeling the still ness within your body. Exhale slowly through your mouth for a count of four, releasing all the air from your lungs. Hold your breath again for a count of four, experiencing the pause and calmness. Repeat this cycle for 5 to 10 minutes. Focus on the even and steady rhythm of your breath, using the visualization of the square to help maintain concentration. This practice can help to calm your mind, re duce stress, and enhance mental clarity.
