MINDFUL BREATH

Mindful breath awareness is a foundational mindfulness practice that involves paying attention to the breath with a non-judgmental atti tude. This technique helps to anchor your awareness in the present mo ment and cultivate a sense of calm and clarity. Find a comfortable seated position with your spine straight and shoulders relaxed. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths to settle in. Begin by bringing your attention to the natural rhythm of your breath. Notice the sensation of the breath as it enters and leaves your nos trils. Feel the coolness of the air as you inhale and the warmth as you exhale. Observe the rise and fall of your chest or abdomen with each breath. If your mind starts to wander, gently bring your focus back to the breath without judgment. Continue this practice for 5 to 10 minutes, maintaining a gentle, curious awareness of each breath. Allow the prac tice to cultivate a sense of presence and inner calm.
