OUR MOTTO
Our motto “Probatio Excellentiae” is Latin for “Benchmark of Excellence” and represents the National Standards of Practice of Case Management as the benchmark for excellence in professional practice for case management practitioners, professionals and agencies within Australia and New Zealand. These words are inscribed in the scroll within the CMSA Coat of Arms.

The following describes what is represented within our Coat of Arms.
Colours represent:
Gold – Board Member
Yellow - Life Members
Red – Fellow Members
Blue – Associate Fellow Members
Purple - Certified Case Managers™ - Practising and Non Practising
Green – Ordinary & Corporate Members
CMSA LOGO (3 ENTITIES) REPRESENTS:
Fourth (left) quadrant – Case Management Practitioner, Professional and/or Agency
Second (right) quadrant – Key Stakeholders
Third (lower) quadrant – Client (&/or representative)
WATTLE REPRESENTS:
First (top) upper quadrant - the Wattle as the National Australian flower identifies the CMSA as an Australian affiliate of the Case Management Society International and our ongoing commitment to our National members, including the communities, clients and/or representatives, key stakeholders and employers within Australia. The colour green is also representative of Ordinary and Corporate members whilst the yellow signifies attribution to Life Members
SILVER FERN REPRESENTS:
First (top) lower quadrant - the Cyathea dealbata, or the silver tree fern or silver fern (Kaponga or Ponga in the Maori language) as the National Emblem of New Zealand provides attribution to our international members in the North and South Islands, including the communities, clients and/or representatives, key stakeholders and employers within New Zealand,
