Remote (ARIA+ score > 0.92 to ≤ 10.53): very restricted accessibility to goods, services and opportunities for social interaction. 5. Very Remote (ARIA+ score > 10.53 to ≤ 15): very little accessibility to goods, services and opportunities for social interaction. The field of inquiry in this study involves remote and very remote areas according to the above categories. Figure 1.1 shows the five levels of remoteness classifications against Australia’s landmass.
