(b) Explain the significance of identifying the client’s aspirations, choices, expectations, motivations, preferences and values when establishing goals with the client. (c) Explain how a goal is linked to: (i) the planning process (ii) the client budget.

5. List all of the available and anticipated financial resources you may need to consider when developing the care plan in alignment with the client’s goals and identified individual, diverse and/or special needs.

6. (a) List the steps you would undertake to ensure the expenditure (e.g. resources, services and supports) within the care plan does not exceed the financial resources of the program i.e. budgetary limitations/restrictions. (b) Name the key stakeholders that may be involved in this process. (c) List the tools you may use in this process. (d) Explain how you would provide the evidence (proof) of your actions.
