PROGRESSIVE RELAXATION

This breathwork script guides individuals through a progressive re laxation technique to alleviate physical tension and manage pain.

Find a comfortable seated or lying position. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths to settle into relaxation. Begin by bringing your attention to your feet. Inhale deeply through your nose, and as you exhale, consciously relax the muscles in your feet. Feel any tension melting away with each breath out. Move your focus to your calves and thighs. Inhale deeply, and as you exhale, release any tightness or discomfort in these muscles. Allow them to become heavy and relaxed. Continue this pattern, bringing awareness to each area of your body that may be experiencing pain or tension. With each exhale, imagine sending soothing waves of relaxation to those areas, easing any discom fort you may be feeling. Continue this progressive relaxation breathwork for several minutes, allowing yourself to sink deeper into a state of calm and comfort with each breath.
