CALMING BREATH
This breathwork script offers a calming practice for both prenatal and postnatal individuals, helping to reduce anxiety, promote relaxation, and cultivate a sense of peace amidst the transitions of pregnancy and new parenthood. Find a comfortable seated position or recline on your side, supporting your body with pillows as needed. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths to settle into a relaxed state. Inhale deeply through your nose, allowing your belly to expand with air. Exhale slowly and completely through your mouth, feeling a sense of release and relaxation with each breath. As you continue to breathe deeply, bring your attention to any areas of tension or discomfort in your body. With each exhale, imagine these areas softening and melting away. Continue this calming breath for several minutes, allowing yourself to surrender to the soothing rhythm of your breath.
