GENTLE WAVE BREATHING

Gentle wave breathing involves visualizing the breath as a wave, flowing in and out gently. This technique can help to soothe the mind and body, making it easier to fall asleep. Lie down comfortably on your back with your arms at your sides and your legs slightly apart. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths to settle in. Begin by inhaling deeply through your nose, visualizing a gentle wave rising up. As you exhale slowly through your mouth, imagine the wave reced ing, carrying away any tension or stress. Continue this pattern, visualiz ing the wave with each breath, flowing in and out gently. Focus on the calming imagery and the sensation of your breath, al lowing it to soothe your mind and body. Continue this practice for 5 to 10 minutes, or until you feel ready to drift off to sleep. The gentle wave visualization can help to quiet your mind and pro mote a sense of peace and relaxation, making it easier to fall asleep.
