BUTTERFLY BREATH
Butterfly Breath combines deep breathing with gentle, soothing hand movements that mimic the wings of a butterfly. This practice can help to calm the mind and promote relaxation, making it easier to fall asleep. Lie down comfortably on your back with your arms at your sides and your legs slightly apart. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths to settle in. Bring your hands to your chest, with your fingertips lightly touching your collarbones. As you inhale deeply through your nose, gently sweep your hands out to the sides in a wide arc, like the wings of a butterfly opening. Ex hale slowly through your mouth, bringing your hands back to your chest in a gentle, sweeping motion. Continue this pattern, synchronizing your breath with the gentle, soothing movement of your hands. Focus on the sensation of the breath and the calming, rhythmic motion. Repeat this practice for 5 to 10 minutes, or until you feel ready to drift off to sleep. The butterfly breath can help to calm your mind and promote a sense of peace and relaxation, making it easier to fall asleep.
