STRENGTH TRAINING BREATH

This breathwork script aims to enhance strength training perform ance by coordinating breath with movement, increasing focus and power. Stand or sit comfortably with your spine straight. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths to settle in. Begin by inhaling deeply through your nose, filling your lungs completely. As you exhale slowly through your mouth, visualize engaging your core and preparing your muscles for the lift. On the exertion phase of your lift (e.g., pushing, pulling, or lifting the weight), exhale forcefully through your mouth, using the breath to power your movement. On the return phase of your lift (e.g., lowering the weight), inhale deeply through your nose, filling your lungs completely and preparing for the next exertion. Continue this pattern, coordinating your breath with each phase of your movement. The coordinated breath can help to increase focus, power, and per formance during strength training exercises.
