Relax and Center:
"Begin by taking a deep breath in through your nose, and slowly exhale through your mouth. With each breath, feel yourself becoming more relaxed and centered. Allow any tension in your body to melt away."
Visualize a Safe Space:
"Imagine a place where you feel completely safe and at peace. This could be a real place you know, or a place you create in your mind. It might be a cozy room, a beautiful garden, a quiet beach, or any place that brings you comfort. Visualize this place in as much detail as possible. Notice the colors, sounds, and sensations around you." "Now, in this safe and peaceful place, imagine that there is a comfortable chair or spot where you can invite a part of your internal system to join you. Set the intention to meet a specific part that you feel ready to connect with today. This might be a part you identified in previous exercises or one that you sense needs attention." "When you feel ready, invite this part to come forward and join you in your safe space. Imagine this part taking a form that feels right to you. It might appear as a younger version of yourself, a character, or even an abstract shape or color. Welcome this part with kindness and openness."
