Reflect: Write down what the Inner Critic shared. Reflect on how it felt to listen without judgment and any new insights gained. Express Gratitude: Say, "Thank you, Inner Critic, for being open with me. I appreciate your honesty and courage." Step 8: Reflect on the Experience After the part has finished speaking, take some time to reflect on what you heard. In your journal, write down any insights, feelings, or messages that came up during the exercise. Consider the following questions: What did the part share with you? How did it feel to listen without judgment? What new insights or understandings did you gain about this part? Step 10: Repeat with Other Parts Repeat this exercise with different parts of your internal system whenever you feel the need to connect, understand, or support them.
