BODY SCAN MEDITATION FOR PAIN RELIEF

This breathwork script guides individuals through a body scan med itation to alleviate pain by increasing awareness and promoting relaxa tion. Find a comfortable seated or lying position. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths to settle into relaxation. Begin by bringing your attention to your feet. Notice any sensa tions—tingling, warmth, pressure, or discomfort—without judgment. Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, imagine sending relaxation to your feet. Move your awareness slowly up through your body, scanning each area for tension or discomfort. With each inhale, breathe in relaxation and acceptance. With each exhale, release any tension or discomfort. Continue this body scan, moving through your legs, hips, abdomen, chest, back, arms, hands, neck, and head. Take your time with each area, allowing yourself to fully experience any sensations that arise. As you complete the body scan, take a few moments to breathe deeply and acknowledge the sense of relaxation and relief that fills your body.
