HANDS ON HEART BREATHING
Hands on heart breathing combines the physical sensation of touch with deep breathing to promote a sense of comfort and relaxation. This technique can be particularly soothing during times of stress. Sit comfortably with your spine straight or lie down in a relaxed posi tion. Place both hands gently over your heart, one on top of the other. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths to settle in. Begin by inhaling deeply through your nose, feeling your chest rise and expand under your hands. As you exhale slowly through your mouth, feel your chest fall and release any tension. Continue this pattern for 5 to 10 minutes, focusing on the sensation of your breath and the warmth and comfort of your hands on your heart. Allow the gentle rise and fall of your chest to soothe your mind and body, creating a sense of calm and relaxation.
